Who doesn’t want the perfect body? We all want to live a healthy life style and most importantly LOOK good right? A few months back I decided to challenge myself to start working out and to better my eating habits. I’ve always ate horrible. Growing up I wasn’t physically active so imagine how out of shape I had become! I am in the gym at least 2-3 times a week to maintain the strides I’ve mad in the gym. If it isn’t the gym I also love to go on a good hike or a night run with my boyfriend. So here are a few key things to go by if you want to start this challenge for yourself!
Look cute while you get fit! Who wants to work out in a big old sleeping t-shirt and big sweat pants? That’s not motivating! You can look good while working towards your body goals and it will help you get up and go work out in public. Go pick up a sports bra, work out leggings, and running shoes.
Clean Eating! This will be a good way to refresh your eating habits. Eat more fruits and vegetables, you will need 5-6 healthy meals a day. Eat in proportions not until your full! With each meal healthy protein and fat meats are needed. Avoid bread, soda, candy, sugar baked goods, and processed foods. It’s better to take a trip to your local whole foods or trader joes and prepare meals. If you want a good looking body ease up on the fast food.
Play the motivation mind game! You and only you will be the reason you get up and exercise or go to the gym or do anything in life! It’s fine to get a night work out in after work if your days are busy. Going with a friend or as a couple to the gym is helpful as well. There are so many workouts you can learn from you tube, Fitness Instagram’s, or get a personal trainer. Sometimes we need an extra push, I definitely did.If you enjoy running you can download the Nike running app or SWORKIT Lite app. It has never ending workouts for strength, cardio, yoga, and great stretching techniques.
