New York Minute

It’s always been a dream of mine to visit NYC during fashion week. So, this year I made it a goal to finally turn my dreams into reality and booked my first flight to the city that never sleeps. Although it was a bit tough having to travel through the snow, in the end it was all worth it because this trip was absolutely amazing. Even with the city covered in snow and the freezing cold temperatures outside, it still felt awesome to be there among millions of people roaming the NY streets.

On the first day of my trip, I met up with a few of my good friends and grabbed a bite to eat at The American Cut. Afterwards, we all went bar hopping at a few spots in Manhattan. The second day, I hit the streets where the fashion shows were held. While there, I ran into an ambush of photographers waiting to shoot myself and other stylish men and women as they walked the streets. My favorite part was seeing Aimee Song, one of my top fav bloggers! I also managed to get a few shots in with my photographer Kaye and my bestie Diamond before the sun went down. Later that night, we headed to the Sugar Factory for dinner.

While in New York, I learned that you definitely need more than a weekend to explore everything but for now these moments that I captured will do. Hopefully, on my next visit in September I’ll get to attend some of the fashion shows! 😉
