My First Trip to Cancun

As a flight attendant the best time to travel for us is after the holidays. Myself and two other flight attendants took Southwest Airlines and arrived in Cancun Tuesday around 1:30pm. The weather was cloudy and breezy during most of our stay and sunny two out of the days. We ordered a taxi on the way out of the airport and we all decided not to exchange our money to pesos. One Mexican peso equals 0.52 United States dollar.

About 22 minutes from the airport we arrived in Puerto Morelos to the Hideaway Royalton hotel. This resort is hidden so it’s far away from the hotel area. The resort was so beautiful and peaceful with all inclusive food and drinks. The Hideaway had several restraunts, spas, bars, and even a night club so there was no need to leave the resort. We stayed on the adults only side which was refreshing if you don’t care to be around kids much on your vacation. After, we got settled in our rooms we jumped straight into our bathing suits, hit the pool and got drinks! Lit lit *meek mill voice*

Wednesday morning around 8am we enjoyed mimosas and breakfast then hit the beach for a couple of hours. We ended up getting a cheaper hotel at Marriott Cancun near the hotel area so that we could enjoy some activities. This hotel was more of a younger crowd and not all inclusive. The beach here was so blue and clear, way better than the Hideaway’s beach area.

Thursday we booked activities with extreme adventures who had the best deals for doing multiple adventures in a couple of hours. So we each purchased a package deal that includes transportation to and from your hotel to ride ATV’s, zip line, and swim in a Cenote for $91. This was the funnest part of the trip and so worth your coin!
For our last night we had dinner at Crab House. We ordered lobster tacos, stuffed crab shrimp, pasta, lobster and steak. Everything!! The food was BOMB.
